My good friend and colleague, Ilias, recently invited me to be a guest on his art podcast Sketchbook Heroes. We talked about our careers, about project Scavenger and we also ranted about Vero and the Black Panther movie. If you can handle my bad accent and you're into bad jokes and pop-culture, this episode is for you! Enjoy!
I am very happy to announce some more details regarding my Scavenger project.
Set in a ravaged world, Scavenger will be a beautifully illustrated artbook and also a campaign setting for 5th edition of the worlds first RPG!
To make this happen I joined forces with Robert Adducci, who is a game designer and community manager for the RPG industry with credits from Wizards of the Coast, Kobold Press, and Soldier Spy. He's worked as campaign administrator with D&D Adventurers League and social media manager for the Fantasy Grounds virtual tabletop. Robert loves engaging with the RPG community and is an admin of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition Facebook group. He's a die-hard Dark Sun fan and founder of the Burnt World of Athas website (Athas.org).
The setting and game design for Scavenger has already started and if you want to take a peek at some of it you can read a brief introduction on Robert's Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/15762148
In addition, he will be running an open world Scavenger game exclusively for his Patrons starting this January! https://www.patreon.com/posts/good-and-not-so-15760285
I created this timed limited edition poster as a promo for my Scavenger project on which I hope I can share more info soon. It is a timed release because it will only be available for one month, so the last day you can order this print will be December 25th!
The print is available right now on Society6.com with 25% OFF and FREE shipping due to the Black Friday event.
The quality is gallery giclée print on natural white, matte, ultra smooth, 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin free archival paper using Epson K3 archival inks. Custom trimmed with 1" border for framing.
Got an amazing news today, the final artist list is out and I can't believe that I made it into this year's Spectrum! This is the most important sci-fi & fantasy album showcasing the best in contemporary fantastic art. I am more than thrilled to be among so many great artists which I admire. There were 4700 entries and only 297 were accepted.
It might not be much but for me it feels very humbling but also rewarding to be accepted among some of best artists in the world. Now I should get back to work :)
Hi everyone, as you may already know I am working on a personal project - Scavenger. While the project is still far from completion, I can tell you that it is slowly but steadily going in the right direction. I just added on the teaser page the possibility for you to subscribe to the newsletter so you can find out the details first. Please feel free to join in!
