Beyond the Cloudspine
I've started this D&D Dungeon Master Shield last year but only recently I got some spare time to finish it. Five weary champions returning from a great battle... Oh, use this as a soundtrack.

The City
As a tradition, my final post of the year is Thief related. The universe of Thief is centered mostly on a dense, sprawling metropolitan complex only known as "The City" so here is my vision of this industrialized and overgrown dystopian place, where magic and technology colide. I hope 2012 will be a very good year for everybody. Cheers!

::First Snowfall::
I don't know about you but for me 2010 was an amazing year, with many dreams fulfilled, and I hope the next one will be even better. Here's a small gift for all of people out there who support and encourage me, a wallpaper with Garrett patrolling the rooftops of The City at the break of winter. I also hope that from now on, the last blog post of every year will be a Thief related artwork . Enjoy and have fun!
::Audience with the Templar::
I love the D&D "Dark Sun" setting, so I've decided to create this tribute artwork depicting a Hunter in an audience with a Templar.
As always I wish I could invest some more time in it, this was created in just one day.
::Concept Art guide::
A better title would be "A Practical Guide to Character and Environmental Concept Art for the Gaming Industry". I've put together this little but practical guide based not only on my knowledge but also on the enlightening experience from the MADE workshop where I took a lot of notes and compiled them here. As the long title says, this is intended for the gaming industry but can be used in other related fields too, I think. I really hope that this helps you to get better at what you do. Also, these are not rules, just guidelines! Download or view online the 1.0 version and if you need a bigger hi-res version for print, click here. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
::Correspondence of Thieves book cover::
Daniel Todd, a good friend of mine, is writing a novel "Correspondence of Thieves" set in the world of Thief and he asked me do to a cover for the first volume, picturing Jyre - the main character of the book, climbing a tower. So, one year later, here it is!
::2010::
I hope it will be a very creative year and full of realizations for everyone, so here's a first sneak preview a concept piece for a project that I cannot talk about right now but I can tell you that I'm very very excited about it, best thing that happened to me in ages, professionally. Although implies of lot of work and dedication I really hope it will be ready by the end of the year. Wish me luck and plenty of time!
