Just finished reading the Lovecraft graphic novel published by Vertigo. The art of Enrique Breccia is amazing! The book tells the story of H. P. Lovecraft from an odd upbringing through his later success as a weaver of “weird” tales, maintaining a tenuous balance between reality and the bizarre nightmares of his “fictional” horror. I’m not a Lovecraft reader but this graphic novel opened my appetite. A very small preview here.
