:::Ryan Larkin:::
Apr 13th, 2006 by Dominus
This is a sad story. Ryan Larkin is a animation film pioneer, or better said.. he was back in the days, because now he is a homeless in the strees…but thanks to the guys at NFB National Film Board of Canada, Ryan Larkin is ready to get off the streets and back into animation.
The first homage, Chris Landreth’s Ryan, is a highly original 14-minute CGI animation thatexplores Larkin’s rise and fall from a 20-year-old animation prodigy to his current life as a panhandler on St-Laurent. An interview with Chris Landreth can be found here. This short animation movie won the Oscar in its category in 2005. Although it has 150MB, its a movie that worth to be seen, and felt.
Oh, and i`ll be gone out of town for a few days, be back on posting next week. Cheers ![]()
